Hoho, shall update on the recent pracs.

Monday was EXTREMELY cold! It's also Hari Raya. The CC was supposed to be closed, but we managed to get the keys, so we had the entire CC! hoho! That's also the day when I found a lot of coins. At first, I saw a twenty cent coin on my score stand. After forwarding for a few steps, I found a ten cent coin on another stand. Then I went to the toilet and found a fifty cent coin and a five cent coin. When prac was about to end, I found another twenty cent coin. LOL! MY LUCKY DAY! Sherry even said she hoped I would find a fifty dollar note. HAHAHAH! OH! And smth disastrous happened to Szemin's zhonghu.

LOOK>>>>

The head of the zhonghu hit the paigu very lightly when she put it down. The strings loosen and very soon, the qin tong detached itself from the qin gan and fell onto the ground. We realised that the zhonghu's bottom screw was alrdy loose. It has been depending on the strings to keep everything in tact. This is why the qin tong fell right after the strings loosen. Luckily it happened now and not right before competition. HEHEHH....

Attempted to revamp GECO blog and it's done! HEHEHH! KUDOS TO ME! :D

Tuesday! Met Heeai at J8 for lunch! First time we met ever since o'lvl chinese paper. She bought me a box of chinese cookies (is that how it's called?), a cool notebook and a creatively-designed ruler. Really like it, THANK YOU HEEAI! :D Went ge after lunch with Heeai. Rozie pracced the erhus first, cos she added some stuff in the bar 170 part. Felt a little angry with myself cos I just couldnt play well for the bar 203 portion. Sucks. Worse still, Rozie reduced the speed for bar 275 by a lot. It's so slow that it becomes a challenge to be together and to do crescendo in 4 beats. Makes our intonation sucky too! Argh! I really hate that part, so torturous! I could finally feel the difficulty of this piece. Well, at least Sherry and I have memorized our scores! KUDOS TO US! :D:D:D

Wednesday! Went to esplanade to catch erhu youth finals. I overslept today, so I reached there late. When I reached, it was Yanliang's turn. Watched his Di Yi Er Hu from the tv outside the studio. His last part was EXTREMELY FAST! He started fast and he even rushed! Amazingly, he could still play at that speed! Limqing was exceptionally good today! Though her mistakes in Di Yi Er Hu freaked me out! Generally, she was impressive! :D Her Diyierhu was so good that the audience applauded unknowingly when they're only allowed to applaud after the second piece! HAHA! Anyway, CONGRATS TO YANLIANG, JESSICA AND LIMQING! :D

Tricia, Layting, Szemin and I went to the CC after a little window shopping at Marina Square. Pracced our finals' pieces. Trish, Szemin and I pracced bar 93 tgt. Before prac began, Sherry gave us a briefing on what'll be going on on this Sat. When she said 'hang around', our group actually did the 'hanging' action together! HAHAHA! GOOD CHEMISTRY! :D I think today's prac is productive. We've improved a lot! :D:D And I could feel myself submerging into the music! OH! Rozie also told us the origin of this piece. Szemin and I agreed that this song has a meaningful background. It really deserves to be the top 2 piece. Perhaps it's the synopsis that made us understand the piece better. I love our kuai ban, but still hate 275!

I think Layting, Szemin and I have very good chemistry! LOL! Don't wanna elaborate on what happened today. I seriously think we have the potential in becoming the next Charlie's Angels! HAHAHAHHAHA! I hope our plan works tmr! ;)

PS: I hope we'll get to perform in prize winner's concert! :D:D:D
